Abitare la città (Inhabiting the city): the birth of a disciplinary area capable of intervening in urban space to make the city inhabitable, and to trigger processes of creative engagement and “habitat awareness” by making good use of knowledge, ranging from urban anthropology to sociology to art. Through the slogan “Habitation is being at home anywhere,” the workshop begins with the examination of a series of experiences of “art in the social dimension” and “art for the social dimension,” from which to develop several design and meta-design exercises activated by the participating artists.

Effetto Venturi is a cycle of seminars and meetings on issues tied to the transmission of artistic know-how that Peep-Hole is organizing at the Museo del Novecento. During 2015 Effetto Venturi intends to develop the reflections on education in the sphere of art, offering a ‘temporary school’ inside the museum, where invited artists can organize seminar work starting with specific thematic units.
