MiArtalks is the program of talks and conferences for MiArt – Milan International Art Fair, 8-11 April 2011, curated by Vincenzo de Bellis and Bruna Roccasalva.

MiArt e/è Milano Meetings
with the protagonists of the other major creative worlds of Milan: Fashion, Design and Architecture. Investigating the territory on the borders between visual art and these disciplines, the meetings will attempt to individuate the conditions that may favour a more widespread integration of the arts in a territory such as that of Milan, which is preparing itself for the challenge of Expo 2015.

One-O-One
Interviews/conversations face to face between an artist and another personality in the art world: collector, gallerist and curator. In every appointment are present two sides of the same coin that represent for each other a necessary and inexorable presence.

Viaggio in Italia
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Italian unification, these meetings will be dedicated to three artists who have in common the development of an interest in a social and political analysis of our country by means of itinerant projects.

P n’ P (Public and Private)
A series of panels that will explore the various possibilities of integration between the public and private worlds in their diverse ideas of collections, institutions and exhibition spaces. Each of the three appointments is dedicated to these three sub-themes which will be considered during discussions with various voices coming from the protagonists of the diverse sectors.
